Let me take you back to year 2017… I was 18 years old and I loved to draw, be creative and I had a dream to become a tattoo artist. It was a thought that had stayed with me since I was around 12 years old, when I first knew that you could work as a tattoo artist.

I bought myself a tattoo machine and I started to practice on fake skin that was included in the tattoo set I bought. I practiced a bit, but I got very excited to try on myself, so I gave it a try. I am not going to lie, the results were not the best. I kept on practicing on fake skin and fruits for a bit, but then I had some friends that really wanted me to try to tattoo them, so I did. This time I had improved, but I had a lot more to learn.

More and more friends wanted me to tattoo them, and I did. I became better and better, and I got more and more people that wanted to get tattoos, so I needed to start taking money in trade to make it possible for me to afford the supplies.

As the time went by, I realized that I needed get more knowledge about the importance of the hygiene and how to properly tattoo without hurting anyone. I started to practice at a studio, where I got guided in how to properly tattoo. I got taught all of the hygiene rules and the do’s and don’ts when tattooing. I wasn’t allowed to tattoo during this time in the studio, until my teacher felt that I knew what I was doing.

After a while, I was finally ready to tattoo safely.

I kept on tattooing on and off from my own studio inside my moms photo studio. I also worked at a few studios, but didn’t feel the creative energy as much when I shared space with other people.

I moved to Skåne because of a job at a studio in Lund, and I gave it another go. The creative blockage came back again, and that time it hit hard, so I took a break from tattooing for almost 2 years.

Today I am finally back with a completely new energy and bringing a spiritual approach to it. I believe that tattoos contain potent energy, and if you direct that energy into something, it will give you that intention you have put into it. That is what I now have combined together with my tattoos!
